"While some dream in black and white, I paint in black and white. I have been doing so since my high school art teacher, Ron Sachse, slid acrylics, brushes and a palette in front of me. I still use the same palette to this day. I have always fancied Mars Flat Black by Liquitex. And I love it. I paint people whom I admire. Or, I admire their work."

"Happy, vibrant, and beautiful" are the words most often expressed by viewers of my artwork. "Thank you" is my response, but mission accomplished rings in my head. Emerson said "Earth laughs in flowers." I seek to express this exact sentiment in my artwork. I seek to celebrate God's glorious gift of the seasonally morphing natural world. I desire to capture and express this so that it can be enjoyed inside our living spaces.
I am a current Powell resident. I am a graduate of Columbus College of Art and Design. For years I expressed my love of nature and creativity through professional floral design. Now I’m expressing myself through these mixed media paintings. Please enjoy!
